Developed to complement the recently launched Health, Safety and Environment Test for Managers and Supervisors, this course aims to provide you with the knowledge required to pass the official BESA Academy HSE Test for Managers and Supervisors. What does the course cover? The Health, Safety and Environment Course for Managers and Supervisors has been designed to reflect the responsibilities of leadership roles in the building services sector. The course is split into dedicated modules covering: General Safety – principles of managing safe systems of work and promoting a positive safety culture.Regulations and Legislation – including key health and safety law, the Building Safety Act, and your duties under current regulations.Legal Compliance – responsibilities for ensuring sites, teams, and projects meet statutory requirements.High-Risk Activities – safe management of tasks such as working at height, confined spaces, and plant/equipment use.Environmental Awareness – minimising impact, waste management, and sustainability considerations.Signs and Symbols – understanding key safety signage and communication on-site.Occupational Health, Wellbeing and Welfare – managing risks to health including hazardous substances, noise, and manual handling. Plus supporting team wellbeing, stress management, and welfare facilities on-site.Completing the online test - important, please read:The Health and Safety Environment Test for Managers requires an online assessment, which takes place through the support of proctoring. Please read the requirements prior to purchase and also watch this short proctoring video which will help you get set up successfully.Before registering for the test make sure you have some ID to hand, this can be a valid driver's license or passport.To ensure you pass the test:Your PC or laptop will need to have a camera and make sure it is pointing towards youTurn all mobiles, tablets, devices offMake sure no one walks into the roomDon't look at anything outside of the view of the cameraFocus fully on the screenOnce you have completed the verification process, it can take between 4 to 8 hours to confirm before you can sit the test.Duration Approximately two hours to complete both the course and test.
